Not the coolest looking thing, and not sure it would address others' problems, but I use a Saddlemen Gel Seat Pad. They are under $100 and come with a velcro/nylon strap/metal clamp thing to attach to your existing stock seat. It cured all my problems & made the "numb nuts" situation go away. Also puts me a bit higher in the saddle, giving more leg room to the pegs (I also use Uly drop pegs). |

I just scored a Baldwin seat for my brand new to me 1125r so I'm not sure I need one, HOWEVER.... In the interest of moving this forward...

As an fyi I pinged saddlemen and they are no longer making buell seats. From the email I got they don't or won't do custom work either. Your results may vary but I now consider it to be a no go. |

@Ceejay I wonder if you emailed them back and mentioned a group order. Maybe that might change their mind. Or maybe not. But worth a shot. |

What you guys are talking about is exactly what Al was going to do.

I also spoke with Al and he thought that it would be a no go due to lack of participants - IIRC he needed a number of commitments and that didn't seem like it was going to happen and now that him and Joanne are riding off into the deserved sunset he understandably doesn't have the time or energy to continue to pursue.
I asked about custom possibilities, meaning send in the seat and we'll fix you up, and they stated that they weren't doing that either. I may try by phone once more or I might just take it to what used to be a local to me shop and let them have it. |

I wish I would have seen this earlier. If there's still any possibility of this happening I'll take one. If it will fit a 12r then I'll take 1 for that, too.
