..Jolly...had a life threatening event happen over the 14th/15th of this month....been having gut pain "issues" with swelling of my legs...long story short,got out of bed the night of the 14th and dropped like a sack of cement,felt sweaty,shortness of breath,legs convulsing...could not move.Thank God the wife called 911 when she did(the ER docs said this)that if it was any later...well,lets just say i,d be a large bag of ash being spread out somewhere around Lake Tahoe,CA.What happened was the as the nurse called it the mesenteric artery was bleeding into the abdominal cavity and giving me a pain in the gut feeling and so the heart was working overtime to compensate for the losage of blood,it had an "event".Doc had to remove 4 pints of blood from the abdominal cavity,repair the artery.Got some cool"art work" ala staples,for right now vertically through my belly button...yippee.Been in the hospital since then and got "booted out yesterday....so now it's the road to recovery.Anyway just lettin' you know....LT | ||

I sure hope everything is ok!! I've spent the last 35 days recovering from a surgery that was a "little" more aggressive than planned.... Love those words!!! "Giant cell tumor" found in foot, tendons removed, joint in toe removed, bones shaved of any cells, toe actually shortened... Had no idea you could do that!? And still pin inserted then VERY unceremoniously yanked out with a pair of pliers.... For the record.... That's pin #6 I've had inserted and yanked out.... All quite benign to what you just went through!!! So... Medical clause??? I get it!!!! If you still want one let me know and I'll try and make it happen!!! Good luck recovering, sure hope it's full and speedy, sounds like a damn close call!!! | ||
