FYI anyone in KC area looking to get A (Jet hot) like coating from a local company, Industrial Coatings 200 South 5th St. KC Kansas. Phone # (913)- 321-2112 E-mail doug427sc@yahoo.com These guys are really good, check em out? You never know! I am not sure about prices but they do Alot of work on High Temp. Cermakrome Coatings, and it looks Nice!! When they polish it out it really looks nice. It withstands heat up to 1600 deg. Not to mention they do a hell of alot of epoxie coatings and powder coatings too. Anyway, our company does alot with these guys and they are good!! Old Silver returned to life yesterday!! So far nothing has fallen off... Still under test!! I have the CAGE in for repairs and I rode the bike back from Meriam Ln this morning... Nice!! Vacation is over and back to work tomorrow | ||

Anybody called around yet locally to find out about the dealers who are supposedly participating in the "Free Sling Bag" promotion? I just didn't want to replicate someone elses effort!  I got a feeling none of the dealers on the list on the website for the metro will have a clue. Let alone have the info or forms needed to score the free bag after the demo.. I know the dealer in Columbia Dennis mentioned is participating but this weekend is out for me completely. Out of town saturday and ERC class on sunday.. I WANT THE FREE BAG! hhaha those things are sweet! (wondering if there is a catch to the deal?) P.S. Jeff you riding it to the meeting?! Central is not participating... Worth North does not have insurance for test rides... knows nothing about the bags. Blue Springs does not have a demo bike... last time I checked St Joe HD did not carry the Buell line... Gail's I suspect will be the same as above... but have not yet checked... The HD shop in Columbia definitely has demo bikes (factory supplied for their grand opening) and I am told bags... (Saturday & Sunday demos) I plan on BMWing to Columbia early Saturday... for demo... bag... BBQ... maybe some beer (Yes... they said beer when I called) | ||

Digger... I am trying to figure out one thing... if I will be able to pilfer beer and put it in my hard bags... so I don't have to ride home drunk! If I continued two hours further... someone would have to mail me home... and I would be too hung over for the ERC class Sunday. I am there in my thoughts bud! Not exactly true... Free beer 2 hours away... or free beer 4 hours away... ... why should I wait 4 hours for beer when I can get free beer in only 2 hours? Simple economics!!!!! but I am so kind and considerate that I will let you make up for this slight oversight by you some other time!!! By the way... on second thought... considering I drink like a drunken sailor... send a shit load of beer back with Sam... he can drop it by on his way through! | ||

Good meeting and ride last night.. we cruised right by my exit so I headed for home. Had to get up early this morning. Anyone else still have thier ears ringing from that insane exhaust on the X1?!?! YIKES I like it!! I didn't catch the discussion which exhaust is it?? Jeff I think you clinched it for me I will be coating my exhaust as well. That was sweet looking! I have been in contact with the guy that Paul posted up. Those people have every kind of coat imaginable. I am going to set up a meeting with him to discuss my winter project.. Be sure to post up where we are meeting for breakfast sunday.. Dennis, Jeff was talking about meeting up with us in Indep. to ride out to meet everyone for breakfast. Either of you guys have a suggestion where and when to meet?? Also I got paid today so this week I will get up to the Honda dealer and get them carb kits ordered! | ||

To All ERC Participants I have a couple of things I wanted to bring to your attention. While looking over the 2004 BRAG Handbook I came across the "Safe Rider Skills" page of the national BRAG member benefits. Here are some highlights you might want to know: Of course we get the $50 coupon for completion as well as: "Active members who successfully complete an accredited course in the current calendar year will also receive a patch and pin featuring the Safe Rider Skills logo." Kind of neat we get a patch and pin also! Something else I wanted you all to be aware of was what you will need to get the coupon, pin & patch: "You must send all three of the following items within 3 months of the course completion date" A completed form (in the book, Jeff or Dave will be able to get them to us) A copy of the Course Receipt or a copy of your canceled check or credit card statement A copy of your Completion Certificate and or card indicating successful completion of the MSF course. So make sure to hang on to this stuff!! The last thing I wanted to let you know is what the New handbook says regarding what the $50 coupon can be used for. "Coupon may be applied toward national BRAG membership renewal, national or state BRAG event registration, BRAG or Buell merchandise or Fly & Ride motorcycle rental" So it looks like we can use it for Buell & Brag merchandise.. Anyway sorry to bore you all just some info I thought I would share since I know this answers a couple questions I heard last night..
