Working on a 2005 XB9 Street Fighter that bogs/slows down when the throttle reaches about 90%. Using Engine Control Module (ECM) spy without the motor running can see the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) to the injector increasing until the throttle reaches 93% then it quickly tappers down to zero. Is there any information on ECM Spy and the tables for the Buell and if so where can one find this information? Have tested the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) out of the bike, tested and tried a new TPS (zeroed/reset the ECM), and need more information on the ECM Spy and tables to analyze the issue further. Thanks! } |

That's weird. Did someone before you mess with the programming? |

what are the fuel map tables at that throttle position vs the rpm? Downloaded your eeprom and checked all parameters possible? Fuel enrichment, temperature, . a lot of changes are going on in a dynamic setting of the ecm. Go for a data log and check real time happenings. check also the timing as temp and rpm can change when at upper throttle settings. Ignition has soft and hard limits for motor salvation so to speak. Good luck! |
