Hello Fellow Badwebbers, I am happy to report I have recovered a shred of sanity again. I picked up my Buell on Sunday and a friend and I drove it down to Madison. I will be able to join 'my beloved' in two short weeks... believe me they feel like years at this point. I only rode 36 miles out of the 150 plus miles... in the low 30's and the snow flying off and on. Man, I totally forgot how much that bike vibrates when you give it some gas... yay... we in Wisconsin are so deprived. I am doing my best to land a job that will not result in a serious decline in my sleeping, eating and retaining some sense of sanity (so I turned down the second interview at Capital City Harley because it would only interfere with riding). I am moving in with a friend who can best be described as a gentle grease monkey who has an obsession with old Harleys and sleeps with his boots on... hey, it is a cheap, temporary room and he won't kick me out if I can't come up with rent. Hopefully this will FINALLY be the start of a Buell community in Madison... long absent from this board. Oh yeah, I talked with Marty Hunt... he has gone to the 'DARK SIDE' and now drives a bagger... but I think he may be persuaded back to the light with a little work. Happy Riding! Charlotte PS I may be moving into your neighborhood Chris... there are close to 99 companies that hire people like me in Milwaukee (as opposed to 1/ 100 in Madison). PPS Madison is great...I like to sit at stoplights next to the beefy frat boys who wear flip flops on their mopeds, slip the bike into neutral and rev the shit out of it... I can't wait!!!
