Thanks Two, but the 99 S3's had the cast aluminum boomerang shifter. I am looking for the steel Chrome unit on the 96,97,98 tubers.

I have a new S1 shifter in the package (33811-96YA), and I also have a new race-use version (the only difference is that it isn't chrome plated).
Also have a new never-installed S1 brake lever.
