7/8" controls were the same 'yellow button' controls through '98 MY, so yes all the same until '99 MY. The set from the '97 M2 should work just fine, 1313 |

They were all C.E.V. until 1999. Be mindful, if you are in a jam, that they are precisely the same as Ducati . . . with one exception. The Buell handlebar mounted "run-stop" was RUN in the forward rocker position . . the Ducati is RUN in the rear rocker position. That, by the way, is based on a well worn and aging memory . . . so treat it accordingly. The good news is that there are only a couple places to buy motorcycle handlebar controls . . in Italy and in Japan. Buell changed from Italy to Japan in 1999 MY. |

Then you have C.E.V. controls and can source them from Ducati. |

The Buell number your looking for is 71830-97Y or the updates one of N0151.B. These came on the 97-98 Buells. The 96 was different and the 99-2002 was also different. |

Does anybody know if the highbeam flash button was functional as delivered on the 2000 M2? Mine has never worked and is not hooked to any wire. |

It was. Although . .. .it's one of the few pieces on the handlebars not rigidly described in part #123.

Thanks court. Damnut, my horn button also broke. I didn't feel safe so as a temp fix I drilled a small pilot hole straight into the stub of horn button that remained in the switch housing. Then I screwed in a small screw from a radio controlled servo mount to act as a new knob. That was two years ago and it still Works great. |

Here is the set I have from a '97 M2. A bit weathered, but functional. All wiring is intact and all buttons are there. How about $25.00 plus shipping for the pair? PM me at kmeath34@gmail.com Thanks, Kevin
