Hello, I'm new to Buells. I purchased a used Buell here in Utah. I just noticed it has a vertical license plate holder (apparently not legal here). Any recommendations on a replacement? It's a 2006 Ulysses. |

I'll go back to the ebay listing if Paulpud doesn't have the part. Thanks! http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/boar d-profile.cgi?action=view_profile&profile=paulpud- users |

That's so weird. So it's mounted to the beltguard? |

That looks plain stupid, IMO... You're missing more than the plate holder, looks like the hugger is gone too. Where are the rear signals? There are lots of components involved, maybe contact the seller? |

By the way welcome to BadWeB and congrats on the Uly. You'll find answers for nearly anything Buell right here, far better place for solutions than a Harley boutique. Learn to do your own service and get a shop manual, they're easy to work on and saves your bike from the butchers. You're gonna love the Uly. |

Johndd Posted on Wednesday, December 09, 2015 - Thanks for the link. I assume this will work on a Ulysses. Yes, that part number is right out of my 2006 Buell XB12X (Ulysses) parts catalog. (Message edited by teeps on December 10, 2015) |

I would guess there was some type of previous damage to the bike and this stuff was all replaced (I'm the third owner). |

Update: Purchased an owners, mechanics, and a parts manual for the 2006 Buell XB12X. I now have lots of parts on order. I will post "before" and "after" pictures to show how MANY parts had to be ordered (once I started looking carefully). It does have a non-standard Micron exhaust system on it (I think I'll keep that). |
