Thanks   Theothers2t Posted on Friday, December 11, 2015 - 03:20 pm:        Hi John; I have one from a '96 in Quicksilver that has very slight damage on the lower mounting tab. A dealer broke it off at the original mounting hole during a service, and drilled a new hole. It still works fine with the original mounting clamp that goes around the frame. The top two metal mounting brackets are still intact. I noticed what the dealer had done and made them buy me a new one. Now you will benefit from their mistake!
