Got the bags but the guy just stuck the shipping labels to the side cases and sent them in the mail. No box, no wrapping, nothing. Needless to say they are beat and scratched to hell now. Not worth the money paid now.  | ||

Really???? WTF? I bought wheels once and got the same treatment, wrapped in cellophane, no box, label stuck on cellophane...wheels had to be stripped and repowdercoated! I just simply do not understand some people.... | ||

I sold a set of these several months ago, except without the top unit. It was difficult to find two boxes big enough for them (eventually found some empty aquarium boxes behind a pet store that worked). They were too big/bulky to ship together without resorting to freight. So I think I know why this guy didn't box them. Not excusing it at all though, that's BS to ship them without even the courtesy of bubble wrap/cellophane over them. I'd have a talk with him, and as suggested go through paypal to get a refund, partial or otherwise. | ||

Go to fedex or ups store. They will box them and wrap them. No excuse for this. You should pursue getting a refund. | ||

If it's any consolation, you can sand the scuffs out, remove the trim, tape off the latches, and repaint the textured portion with Rustoleum spray-on bed liner, and it will look practically new. Then sand and paint the trim pieces whatever color you want. I did this to a set of faded bags to really bring out the color and make them more aesthetically pleasing. Worth a try. | ||

Been in touch with the seller and he is willing to refund whatever funds I feel necessary, so a stand up guy in that regard. Thanks for the tips on the painting, probably the best/only fix at this point. | ||
