Time for a rebuild or? thanks buellers!   Dtaylor Posted on Thursday, October 22, 2015 - 10:36 pm:        If the lever feels like it's sticking in place, try this: Remove the lever. Use a rag to polish the crud out of the lever bushing, the housing, and the pivot bolt/pin. Give it a light coating of grease before reassembling. I had the opposite problem, grabbed the brake lever and they wouldn't come on initially, then came on too hard. Turned out to be just all the moving parts getting dry and corroded.
