Once Again,

We Canadians are SCREWED from getting the cool stuff from Buell

As I type this I am wearing my very nice "Buell T-Shirt" that a friend sent me from the US!!!!!!

Hey Buell/Brag, there are a lot of enthusiasts North of the US Border as well!!!!!

So do you still have to fill out a credit application to demo ride a bike?

Buell demo rides here in Edmonton on May 2. I can't wait to try an XB12S. Hey Newfie, you can't say there's no free Buell stuff at demo rides. Last year I got a free Buell sticker!!! Wow.

Newfie, I'm just curious; how close is your nearest Buell dealer?

Two Days Away,

1000miles/1600km

Yes I would ride that to get to the Demo Ride but there is nothing Scheduled yet.

The local Harley Retailer told me HD's Demo Truck will be here but I am not puttin stinkin HD stickers on my vehicles.

It just gets frustrating when there are enthusiasts all over Canada wanting to see these machines and not be able to take advantage of the special offers.

At this point would I buy another Buell, ONLY if its an older S2, S3, RR or RS, not one of the XBs. Its a shame too because I love the XB platform.

One particular case was last year when Canadian Hog Tales came out showing the ride home schedule. It started in Halifax, Nova Scotia. EXCUSE ME HOG but Canada Starts in Newfoundland. Bunch of bloody Upper Canadians!!!!!!! Long before the thing was even published or went to print the Local Chapter expressed their views and no luck, no support. I guess that is my rant for today!!!!!

Personally,

I think that if your a Harley Retailer you should take it all - Buell too - or none.

Newfie, if there are ever any freebies in the states that you want, let me know. I'll try to get one and send it to you. Of course I might want an exchange, maybe a little sample of screech is it? Are you wanting the bag? I have off on Tuesday, I could try to get a demo in then.

It must be,

Last time I tried to send it by mail it was considered to be a "Bio-Terrorist Threat" there fore could not be sent.

I would have had to go through so much red tape its better for you guys to come here and experience it.

Here is the story Newfie Screech

I just test road an XB12S and got the pack. It's pretty cool but nothing to write home about. I'd rather have the T-shirt, which I never got.

After riding the 12S though I'm even happier with my S3T.

I might be able to help you on that one.

Ride to the edge!

Must be nice, we got atleast 4 dealers in our metro area and as usual none of them have a clue about the promo nor do they have a single Demo bike to ride. : (

We rolled that one right off the floor. When I got back there was a guy taaking a blue XB9R off the floor.

I was nice to it because iit only had <10 miles on it. I only wheelied it a little bit and I only went over 6000 RPMs on-, no, twi-, no...um...well, I never hit the rev limiter!

I just tried & a Large Nolan full face fits in..barely. It was a tight squeeze getting thru the opening & I dont think an XL would make it.
