Did a ride out to Tortilla Flat. Wow, the road is getting really bad. Big expansion cracks every 20-30 feet. Gravel all over the road. Huge chunks of black top out of road, which most seems to be int he corners. coming into a corner, unstable payment, chunked out payment, and loose gravel. Not a fun road. It will jar your teeth out, at least on my m2, it did. | ||

There is the largest Motorcycle swap meet in ARIZONA between Casa Grande and Coolidge this Sunday . It is @ 11 mile corner at the Pinal County Fairgrounds . $5.00 to get in and it is usually a big swap . I always end up with something from there. I got an X1 fender there one year for $10.00. And a Harley side car for my Shovelhead another year and and and lots of stuff.... (Message edited by Arizona_Buell on October 07, 2015) | ||

Some old friends and some air shocks . Some discounted Harley clothes for Hayden too .. So yes . There was a bit more OLD triumph stuff there and a couple of BSA basket cases but too much money for them . I would like to do an old triumph or Norton or BSA but when they are in a million pieces and have a $2,500 price tag on them I got to keep walking . Mark | ||

Rex, missed you at the TT...we got there late after joy riding around. rain on us on the way home... we need to meet up on a Saturday night at the Pavilions in Scottsdale, only seen one Buell there a few weeks ago and no EBR's have shown up yet. there's a guy with an 1190 KTM and asked if he's tried an EBR...he was like "EBR 1190" what's that. thinking yous guys need to educate these rice rocket fools what Buell and EBR motorcycles are about...just saying | ||

"rice rocket fools"? really? You sound like a Hardley rider. Buell owners typically are much smarter and more accepting than that. Just out of curiosity, have you ridden a KTM 1190? and do you know where it's built? | ||

Yes, really...the typical rice rocket fools, young, bullet proof mentality, some of the older folks as well. these guys don't have a clue about Buell motorcycles. owning a Buell doesn't make you smarter or more accepting. that's my opinion. and opinions are like assholes, everyone has one! no, I haven't rode a KTM, yet and yes, I do know where they are built. but, what does that have to do with having the Buell group show up on a Saturday night at the Pavilions? not a damn thing. it's either you guys want to or not, it's a car and motorcycle show...so show off your Buell's, it's that simple. this isn't a debate as who has the biggest Johnson and never was meant to be...so build a bridge and get the F%$& over it. | ||

Hey Guys, Rex here. Happy Thanksgiving. A couple of things. 1. December meeting. Chases at 6:30 pm. I will not be able to attend. I will be out of town. Sorry, see you in January. 2. Buell 2003 XB. I bought Robins Yellow Buell XB 9. A fantastic bike. I even had the seat redone at a local shop. I don't really fit on this bike. It runs fantastic and has been kept up all of its life. If you know Robin, you know this. New tires, new bars, always maintained. RAce muffler, etc. I thought I would list and see if any of our guys are interested in this bike. Super bike. 2500 for this bike is a great deal. Cost of the bike and the new seat cover I had done on the bike. Clean title. REX | ||

Why is this so obvious to me when the people who do this are so blind to the reality of what they're doing?
