I thought I would try the bags from my wifes blast on my XB9R. The fit pretty well. |

The set can be gotten @ Target. The set of six can be gotten for $1 ! That is correct. I will keep my eyes open if my store gets any more. Will pick up as many as we get. |

Hey...that close up of the tank reminds me...eanyone have any of the pictures of the year that "motorcycles" was spelled wrong under "American Motorcycles"? It got kept kinda quiet. I'm surprised none of you sharp eyed folks caught it. Remind me to tell you about what happened..... |

a few twisty bits in Outer Suburbia yesterday the corners were spooky with gravel in the center of the lane -- be careful out there. |

Lee, that was in Great Falls heading towards River Bend. VDOT has really screwed the road up with their half-lane paving job further on down. Man, I gotta move -- out past you and find some good roads.

Kevyn, What is the name of the color of your S2? I've not been able to get a straight answer! I need some to redo my front fender! It's not the elusive Parkway Blue but another shade of blue. Mike, Thanks for the link, I was looking for it but couldn't find the bugger! They've added a couple since the last time I visited. I made one of them, they turn out pretty good. I printed mine out on a color laser. Pretty neat! Brad

BluzM2, It's not Black Sapphire Pearl, so if it isn't Parkway Blue, and it is a stock color, it must be Carribean Candy Blue (I think). From the Sport Twin site: Carribean Candy Blue 1. Spray 3 coats Sikkens 333 FC. 2. Mix 10% Sikkens 261 with 90% Sikkens 666 Binder. Spray 3 coats. 3. Spray 3 coats Sikkens Autoclear. Hope this helps. I can't find dem lil bikes anywhere...I tried Target here in New Bern, and even went to Greenville with no luck. I found some of the other 'puzzles' that this company offers at Wal Mart here in New Bern, but no bikes If anyone can locate any extras, please keep me in mind. I won't rest until I have a mini S2... 1313 |

They were kept in "the $ spot" at Target. I found out today that my target may not be getting anymore. Will still keep my eyes open. |

thanks Sand- i bought mine grey and had it painted for about fifty bucks. i had to buy a bracket and some spacers (close to 40 bucks) from the dealership, plus some hardware i had to buy, like longer allen bolts for the right side, and a longer shifter bolt and longer primary case allen bolts for the left. all in all, i spent 150-175. i didnt even check how much it would have been to just buy a new one (comes with mounting kit, but they wont sell just the kit) from the dealer. they wont sell you just a kit, but they will try and sell you 80 bucks worth of shit you dont need, like ten of everything. shoot me an email if you have any other questions Ken |
