So my thread fell off into the archives... A link to the beginning... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/47623/753645.html?1437824211 I have been nuts here with sorting out 4 other bikes, & flipping a few others. I had what turned out to be some relatively minor issues with this build that I had to walk away from for a bit. I still have a couple little things to do but I am calling it DONE as I am riding her with great pleasure )) A special thanks to Dave/Jolly & Jeff/Red93stang for all of their help with this build, even though they cost me THOUSANDS on other bike purchases!!! Do not trust them as sponsors!!!! LOL So here goes.....I hope you enjoyed the ride.... (Message edited by k12pilot on September 09, 2015) |

Awesome Chris. There are definitely some very talented and knowledgeable people on this Buell forum. Love the carbon fiber and rear tailpiece powdercoat. (Message edited by jefc73 on September 09, 2015) |

Excellent workmanship Combined with tasteful parts. Just out of curiosity, any particular reason for not using the CF tank inserts? |

Thanks Guys, The the Pegasus covers as well as most of the other silver bits are powder coated "chrome" looks just like polished aluminum in person. I have the CF inserts, as well as the tail fillers. Most of the carbon are NOS parts but the PO of the tank cover had metal tabs installed at the front attachment points, and they are a wee bit to far out. I have not gotten brave enough to perform the surgery yet Thanks Again. |
