OK, so the last couple rides ('06 Uly, 35k miles) my gauges have been acting different. One, I know the cause - gunk on the speed sensor keeps mileage from accumulating sometime. I just need to pull and clean it again. However. Sometimes on key-on, my tach needle sweeps...speedo needle does not. But, the speedo works FINE. Sometimes it sweeps. Sometimes, the needle doesn't move...but the odometer logs distance. Regardless of key-on sweep or not. If I swap in a new cluster...I forget, does the mileage stay with the cluster? Or the ECM? I can't remember...sucks getting old... |

It must stay with the cluster, as mine is the same with the new ECM. Just rolled over 73,000 the other day. |

You may just have a booger in the meter movement itself. You may have luck taking it apart and looking it over carefully. |
