How long between carbs? The cv is bullet proof sime dumb carb. Mines a 96 and never gad an issue? |

Over 70k miles on my 1998 CV carb without a single issue. What the hell are you doing to kill 2 of them? |

I got a mikuni 42 for my 99 M2 several years ago, gives slightly better throttle response but that's about it. With hindsight I could think of better performance mods to spend the money on. |

I think tuning the carb has as much to do with it as what one you use. Something must be wrong with your setup, what is going wrong?? |

I prefer the Mikuni 42 over the CV (even with a Dynojet kit). In addition to better throttle response, I also experienced much improved fuel mileage. |

the longer you wait the longer you will regret not acting sooner. all kinds of stories about kehein, how many have you heard about going back to kehein from a mikuni? get a dyno tune with it and you will be wishing you did it sooner! I waited too long. |
