Polling for some additional data (just an interest item to me to pass along findings)

Last 3 of 1190 serial number
1190 MFR Date
Ridden in the rain?

Starter Failed or Inspected?
Corroded?
Starter Cleaned or Replaced?
Starter MFR Date (if known)


Early numbers indicate starters made 11/2013 & 12/2013 are prone to failure. Not enough 1190 serial numbers/MFR dates yet to correlate to failed starters. Very early (under sn 27? don't seem to be affected)

As noted, 67xx miles, so far.
My RX starter is working without fail. Has been driven in light rain a few times.

I hope your dealer has one on their shelf cause I looked it up and there are no EBR starters available through the parts network.

130 RX, 32 SX, 18 RS. RS has been in the rain multiple times, but the SX and RX have not. Never inspected, no problems as yet.
