ASV offers levers, EBR uses a Nissin calipers I think the levers for a 2014 Kawasaki ZX14 will work.

ASV levers are awesome. I had those on my S2T and loved them.

I couldn't find a dealer for the ASV levers, and they sure are pricey. I got a chance to look at a set of nice looking folding CRG knock-off's for a ZX1400 but it wouldn't fit. Any thoughts?

What is the appeal for upgrading the levers? Is it for looks or function?

Of all the bikes I've owned, I have never thought to myself "man, I really need to change those levers", lol. Just curious.

They can be found for about $100/lever.

Aftermarket levers are much more adjustable than factory levers .. you can bring them in very close to the bar so they work great for small hands and 2-finger lever pulls.

Same problem here. If anyone has a ZX14, I have a beautiful set of red folding levers on my desk that won't fit EBR.......

I can say a set of Cheapo Chinese Zx14 eBay levers did not fit properly. The ASV fit perfect .. if you search for on ASV's website for EBR 1190RX and 2014 ZX14 lever .. you will see the parts #'s are the same.

So is anyone using ASV shorty levers on their 1190? Thinking about getting some.

With the effort of the clutch pull on the EBR .. even with the retrofit kit ... I would not recommend a shorty lever. I put full length ASV levers on my RX to retain the extra leverage and still have the additional adjustability of the reach and length of pull.

I've only had time to ride mine around the block a couple times before having to leave for work but I didn't really notice the clutch pull being that hard.

I'll get more time this weekend to put some more miles on it before deciding...
