Hi all, I have recently purchased CR forks and a Hyperpro Ss shock to lower my Uly. The shock just arrived and it is too long. I am guessing they used the 2010 length even though I definitely ordered a 2008. I have searched the site and found 13.625 inches mentioned in a few places. I would however like an official source for the 2008 length to give them. Can anyone point me to a link or take a photo/scan from a manual that has it black and white. Another alternative would be a photo of one being measured. On or off the bike to back up the 13.625 inches. (If the tape had cm that would be good as they are a European company). Actually, a photo of the older and newer shocks side by side would work too. Thanks for any help Blue skies |

13.625" is for 2006-2008 Ss. 2009 XB12Ss comes with TT shock, which has 14.25 length. What color is the spring? 2009 XB12Ss has a white spring. Other years (13.625") came with black spring. |

My spring is black but thats because I've got an Uly Thanks for your help, 13.625 is what I want, I just wanted a reference for that in case Hyperpro gave me trouble, however they are changing the length no problem. (Message edited by ciel_bleu on August 26, 2015) |
