This seems to be an accurate schedule from IMS of all that is scheduled without military time. http://www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com/events/mo togp/event-info/schedule |

What a ride. Yesterday, 90+ degrees and humid. Today? Rain and never saw temperatures over 66. Got here around 5:00 and the sun came out after the bikes were unpacked. Forecast for the weekend looks good, though! |

After stopping at the local WalMart, I got to see first hand some of the local specimens sometimes seen on "People of Walmart dot com"... The radio repeater has a great signal, so comms are up and WQVH815 is monitoring. Marquez on pole. |

Hey Tim, great chatting with you and Craig today and thanks for the update on EBR. Damned shame your rider's day ended the way it did. There's always tomorrow... |

I'm still seething... But I'm glad the "Old Man" kept his podium streak alive. |

Lorenzo and Marquez ran pretty much identical races. The difference was Lorenzo made his mistake at the end. Did you stick around for the motoamerica race? That was good stuff, Hayden and Beaubier going at it the whole time. |

Good race. I think L played it just a touch safe at the end, second was better than getting bumped wide and letting VR into the fight or crashing out! |

In JL's post race he mentioned that his rear tire was toast. |

Sorry, I am gonna say it...Indy is a total waste of a GP. |

The race-winning pass. Totally clean. Nobody getting bumped. My wife owes me a dollar. Haters will always hate, no matter what I say. |

The ending of the MotoAmerica race was EPIC. Literally, a photo finish. Hayden makes that GSXR look good. What was up with Hayes this weekend? He was far from his normal dominating self. Sad that 888 wasn't able to be put back together for Race 2. We'll see you guys in Millville! |

Last year the RIDERS picked Indianapolis as the best race and course of the year. A terrific improvement over past years where they universally complained about it. It's a great race in a spectacular venue and the people of Indianapolis are just terrific. And when you compare it to the other rounds, it is a screaming BARGAIN!! There are rumors that Dorna may back out of their multi-year contract with the circuit, saying one race in the US is enough. What, and THREE in Spain is just fine?? Oh wait... Ezpleta is Spanish, Dorna is a Spanish company, and Repsol is a major sponsor AND a Spanish company. I see how this works... |

OH! We got a special "surprise treat" Friday night when we went to "Motorcycles on Meridian:" Number 34 himself was browsing the scene! Pretty cool, a lot of people didn't seem to recognize him but I picked him right out. |

Jaime, maybe it has something to do with the fact that the venue was damn near empty...? Our sections were sold out, but there was a lot of great seating available... and walking around the infield and VIP areas I was hardly feeling crowded. |

Indy had a very good crowd by US standards I am told. close to 70,000 on Sunday alone. Just that 70,000 at a place that holds over a quarter million is gonna look empty. |

According to this the attendance numbers shouldn't be an issue to MotoGP. http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/attendance-up- for-2015-red-bull-indianapolis-gp/ "The 2014 Red Bull Indianapolis GP had the eighth-largest three-day attendance figure out of the 18 MotoGP rounds last season." And this year was higher attendance. The racing was close and fantastic for every class, hard to say Indy is a waste. |

The racing was close and fantastic for every class, That it was, and the announcers were calling the Moto2 race "the best in recent history", to which I agree whole-heartedly... What Dave said makes sense, 70k in a 250k venue will look empty, and for my part I'm glad because it made it easy to get in and out before and after the race. |

not a record crowd for MotoGp Indy but good attendance. lots of folks walking through the paddock eager to chat. the racing was spectacular in all classes! Unfortunately it was Max's broken left wrist that now has screws, pins and wires installed that put a stop to the repairs on the bike. would have been tough to be ready but should have been able to make the end of the day race. NJMP it is Jaime! it was good talking. sorry that we didn't have much time at that point! tim |

60,000 last year so attendance is up. it looks empty because they don't even open up most of the stadium. if you walk around enough youll see that. |

Source? Call me close minded, but any "road course" attached to a super speedway oval is crap--even if it has a yard of bricks. What they need to do is have Laguna as the last round before the summer break....that way all the teams can vacation after the weekend is done. Ok I can dream.... |

Pwnzor: IMS can hold over a half a million people. The unofficial count of 67K on Sunday would've overflowed Laguna Seca and filled quite a few of the tracks in Europe. |

Not sure where Dave heard a quarter of a million. From friends who live in Indy, no one actually knows how many people can sit in the stands, let alone along the track in the various venues. I've heard a half a million bandied about before. |
