i like this bike but there is no oil tank... it does have an oil cooler, and what appears to be a bigger oil filter... you couldnt possibly run this thing for any length of time without the oil tank could you? hmmm.. |

Look under the seat. It LOOKS like oil lines coming over the battery. |

There is an oil tank look at the back of the tank under side there is a slim oil tank. It is also a custom fuel tank. I figure by your posts you want to get a custom looking short tail S1. I have hundreds of examples. You best tail option is speed of color. If you go this route you will end up like me with thousands into fab and two years into the build. There is no aftermarket customizing everything needs fabbed Here is speed if colors tail By the way this bike is forsale on their site and this tail will run you close to 600 shipped to tge US |

to add - look at the subframe, see that small triangular area of free space where the upper and lower tube connect to the frame? Unlike everywhere else, its not see-though, instead it looks like there is something black there. Might be a really thin oil tank. Personally I wouldnt rely on a larger oil filter for my 'tank'....though i do wonder, if your lines were long enough, and had the oil cooler on there, if you could fit enough oil to run it for short amounts of time I wouldnt try it on anything other than a show bike...and i'll never have one of those |

How much oil does the tank really hold? The larger capacity oil filter holds at least .25qts more, plus the oil cooler/lines depending on the size, may add up to another .25qts, thats an extra .5qts or so.... |

Oil tank holds alot more than .5 qt. has to do with flow rate. If the pump is pumping x amount it needs to have a reserve supply to draw from. I do disagree the first bike has an oil tank under the seat you can see it and its in other pics. There is a breather hose running up that looks like it goes to the tank but it is a breather from the rocker covers. I also researched this bike and emailed the builder. Awhile back. |

"oil tank under balls would be pretty toasty..." Instead we have an ENGINE under our balls. I'd rather have the oil tank than a machine making hundreds of fireballs every minute its running. |
