Posted to EBR's Facebook page this morning by Mr. Bruce Belfer:
quote:To address any confusion, Atlantic Metals division of BGI is a manufacturer of fabricated metal equipment in the architectural, electrical and lighting businesses. We are not in the scrap metal business. We make things. We make them here in Jersey, in the USA, with American engineers, American ingenuity, and American skilled labor. Been at it for over 30 years. We know how. EBR is intact and in good hands. Thanks for keeping the faith! More to come. Time to get to work...

I am not getting great vibes folks and do not see Erik as having a whole farm load of choices. EBR is going to need a credit line of up to 20 million dollars, whether internally or externally generated. This is not futile. Instead, massively demanding. I absolutely hope this will work out well for all, by becoming positively notable and absolutely profitable. |

Belfer is part of Belfer Group, Inc (BGI). He has much deeper pockets than you think. |

Bloor was a dry wall guy when he bought Triumph. Triumph is now worth over 1 billion pounds (more in dollars) Here's hoping Mr. Belfer can do at least as well, and given his businesses, he should be positioned to!! (Message edited by sprintst on August 08, 2015) |

Yep, from John Bloor of Triumph, it does take $ and determination....... "While attending the auction of the site of the former Triumph factory to buy the site for house construction, Bloor bought the collapsed Triumph brand in 1983.[6] After sub-licensing the brand for a period, he invested over £80 million into rebuilding the marque, opening the new Hinckley factory in 1991.[7] After a factory fire in 2002 stopped production the factory was rebuilt, and now produces 46,000 motorcycles per annum." Wikipedia My biggest concern is that it may be seriously underfunded. I certainly feel that Mr. Belfer has a lot to offer, I am just not sure how much. Believe me when I say, I really want this to work well for EBR. |

Underfunding has ALWAYS been an issue, at least up to this point. True, money alone does not solve problems, but it sure as hell gives you options. |
