Going to replace the STOCK horn. Suggestions for either the Fiamm High or Low Tone? |

I installed this http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/denali-soundbom b-split-dual-tone-air-horn on my Uly- took some doing behind the wind screen. This kit may be easier on a tuber as there is room for both. It is LOUD as hell, worth extra effort and money. I bought the harness- it made the install easy. Highly recommend. This will give you both Hi and Low... |

Might want to read these comparisons, here's one link, but there's another one on the same site: http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-horns/motor cycle-horn-comparison.htm |

The Fiamm low tone works well by itself, but it sounds just like a 1960's pickup truck (I have one on my Uly). It's a cheap, bolt-in swap; no added relay necessary. |

I realize the Stebel Nautilus didn't win any awards in the above noted comparison and I've not put one on the S3T but I have used them on a variety of other bikes. They also offer a wiring kit if you are in need of it. I've seen this in a variety of shops as well as online via Amazon.com Hope this helps, Don |

My '91 RS1200 was delivered with the usual tiny round disc-type horns. I never examined them closely for a part number, but I suspect they were OEM Yamaha horns, as Buell used Yamaha turn signals then (that I was able to verify). Over many years I have tried/used all the horns mentioned above. I wanted "loud", and the horn I liked the best was an OEM Cadillac from the 50s-60s. It sounded like a very large car, which delivered proper respect... But for the Buell I wanted something that looked OEM so I installed Volkswagen Beetle horns which are cheap and readily available on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Volkswagen-12-volt-OE- Replacement-Horn-German-88554002627-/111276791555? fits=Make%3AVolkswagen|Model%3ABeetle&hash=item19e89d1703&vxp=mtr |
