Author Message   Buellking Posted on Saturday, July 11, 2015 - 10:23 pm:        My 03 Buell has a starting issue it wont start off the battery. Battery has 12v and when its running 14v. Charging seems to be fine. I put a new battery in it and it started fine the first two times then same issue. It clicks like there is no battery power as soon as i put another battery or a booster too it fires up no problem.   Daddio Posted on Sunday, July 12, 2015 - 10:26 am:        If it will start with a jump, or a fresh battery, than I would suspect the charging system, or, perhaps you've got 2 bad batteries. If it's absolutely impossible that you got 2 bad batteries, then I would re-check all the wiring, especially the battery terminals and chassis and engine grounds, and the "77" connector. You might be getting the voltage to the battery, but not the amperage required.
