The steps are pretty simple. Just grab my riding jacket and head to the garage to get out the Uly. Maybe I should sell my services to the left coast. |

Yeah, bring it. If it works we'll pay you. If it doesn't, you got a nice ride out of the deal. |

Rob, You have to break the spell. It was happening to me. I just kept riding in it. Like when I was growing up, people would tell me what to do or not do. I just kept doing what I wanted. Wasn't long till they quite telling me what to do. If I had went along with the program, I'd have never learned to listen to myself or to tell myself what to do. Rraammbblliinngg here. Ya I hear ya. Bye guys, gotta go. |

It is pretty much a given this summer that any day I want to ride it will rain here in PA...but then I do want to ride every day. LOL |

I figured out how to make sure I ride every day. I got rid of my Jeep. I do know that I'll have to use a cage during some of the winter up here. But no need for one in the summer. |

I just got my first convertible, a 2002 Sebring LXi. Dan says it's the same as his mom's car. Nice, well I am 60... Anyway top down and the Uly sits in the garage.. if/when it starts raining I pull over and raise the roof!! What was that about rambling RD? Z |

Rain never bothers me much unless it ruins a trip. Leaving for Colorado this week so I imagine we'd better pack the rain gear. Rain now and then is OK but unrelenting rain can get a bit tiring and depressing. Keeps the engine cool though. Come to think of it, if your fan goes out on a long trip then rain would be a good thing. My original 06 Uly fan will hit 50,000 miles on this trip. Quite remarkable considering most folks have replaced shelled out fans way before that. My fan still sounds fine but one of these days, months or years it will fail just like everyone else's has. I think it has lasted because of the air flow thru I provided years ago under the seat. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142 838/312339.html?1192030155 Probably doesn't get as hot as other ULY fans. |

Now at 58 I ramble to. I just cannot admit it until I hit 60! Rain is not your fault. Sue the gob'mt I'm sure it is something they have done playing with chemicals and such. Ride in one of those sealed bubble hazmat suits......you will be fine! |
