Uep not an item you can buy might be able to find one on ebay or something but a machine shop could mill you one really easy. If I was good with my lathe I would make one for you. |

Steve, if you can get some dimensions to me I can make you a new one. I have a lathe and a cnc lathe in my shop. Matt |

Hey Steve, did you check Twin? http://www.twinmotorcycles.com/webshop/artikel.asp ?guid=YXHFSC&aid=1405&cid=0&s=41128-94y&a=&aname=B uell_Spacer_Front_axle_right_side__tube_frame Also I see one listed in the Netherlands at Jan Willem Boon, just that they require 75 Euro worth of things as a minimum order. Note the prices are cheaper for export when you exclude VAT. Part 41128-94y http://www.jwboon.com/index2.php?content=http%3A// www.jwboon.com/dbhtml/catalog/Section_all/Descript ion_/Page_173 Did you check Hal's? |

Hey guys: Lakes...machine shop?...thought of that. S1owner...ebay?...no find there Loose1...I'll make, get dim's...OK Gobadgers...Twin?...actually didn't think about them, part you linked is only the frame to bearing spacer, not bearing to bearing spacer (bearing inner race to other side bearing inner race)Hals?...did not check them yet Here is what I think may be the right approach...machine them...maybe lots of them as Al at American Sport Bike tells me that part # is no longer available from HD. Al checked Vintage Parts too, no dice. Al always has suggested that every time you replace the wheel bearings, you should also replace the bearing spacer in the wheel. With that said, I would think there is a market for this. Maybe make a bunch of them... What do you guys think? |

Steve, go to Twin and check their parts diagrams. Parts are listed there. Sounds like you are talking about their part #G0125.C Buell Tube frame front wheel bearing spacer. Not sure if that is for a PM wheel though. http://www.twinmotorcycles.com/webshop/parts.asp?j aar=2001&model=AC73B93A-C6A7-4D2C-98C5-8B8AE19372F F&sid=A42F852A-D210-42C1-AC79-37252170D12C (Message edited by GoBadgers on July 01, 2015) |

Thanks Gobadgers. Twin only offers the spacer for the front wheel. I need both wheels. I'm going to get them machined, once I have them out of the wheels. Did I tell you yet, I gave my '99 X1 to our boy! New Pirelli's on tomorrow, then the bearings w/spacers, then the front rotor. And yeah, even the Penske is going with it. |

Is he working on it with you? A man must know his machine. It seams all you do is put tires on your bikes. |

It seams all you do is put tires on your bikes. Um, that may be what he should be doing, but...'there's plenty of tread left' (Message edited by jkgonzo on July 01, 2015) (Message edited by jkgonzo on July 01, 2015) |

Steve, just for your reference, I think the rear spacer is here. Item #7 @ 35.14 EUR. http://www.twinmotorcycles.com/webshop/parts.asp?j aar=2001&model=AC73B93A-C6A7-4D2C-98C5-8B8AE19372F F&sid=B88933D0-7087-4052-A120-904B5AC4FD93 He is going to like that X1. It is nicely set up. Just so he rides smart. What Pirelli's are you putting on? |

Gobadgers: The link above is specific to the Castalloy wheel, not the PM wheel bearing spacer that I need. Tires are the Diablo Rosso II. Nice and sticky. Loose1: Now I understand your point..."is he working on it with you?"...he will be starting today. Once sorted, I'll be taking her out to break in the tires and bed the brakes in. Then, Donnie and I will be riding together for awhile to break him in. He took the MSF course about a year ago, had his M endorsement before his personal drivers license. I want him to ride responsibly, hence the ride along for a while. Power to weight is more than what I had at his age long long ago. He'll be alright on it. |
