Same people, same stator, better price...WTF?

Edited to add that one listing says for 2008, the other for 2009. Shows the same manufacturer's part number though.
Is there any difference between the two years on the factory stators?

stator 2009+ 12 pole, 2008 18 pole

stator and rotors have physical size differences between years!
