Does anyone know how to move the mirror housing on a stock 1125cr? I've pushed the mirror back as far as it'll go and it still only shows me my thigh >.< |

The glass pivots in the housing. |

And how do I get access to those, the mirror glass itself doesn't have much room to get at anything behind it. Do you have pics? |

Um well I've pivoted it as far back as it will go and the mirror at best shows my thigh, I think it's bumping into the plastic housing so either the housing needs to be rotated back to allow more room for the mirror to pivot or something else is wrong that I am not aware of. I've seen a nut inside the housing near where the metal tube attaches and I was hoping that getting access to that might help move the housing back a bit, but I read elsewhere that the only real way to fiddle with the housing was to use a heat gun to melt the glue that the mirror is attached with and take off the glass.. are there any other tips besides that? |

The factory mirrors sucked for me. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001KOCCKG?psc=1& redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00 I bought those and never looked back.. or.... wait...... |

You can loosen the two bolts of the thing that the entire mirror assembly and clutch/brake levers are attached to. It also moves the clutch/brake levers but may help you get it into a position that works for you. (Message edited by Froggy on June 20, 2015) |

@Cf_z and those fit into your 1125? Hmm the reviews say it's a 10mm bolt. Is that right? @Froggy I'm not sure I can do that, there's a nub inside the clutch housing that's supposed to line up with a hole in the bar. |

There is no nub. I have mine rotated forward a few degrees. There is a line marked on the handlebar so you can easily go back to stock. |

+1 for Froggy, it was so simple to move just the turn signal attachment bracket. I always thought it was attached to the clutch housing! |
