So, Due to life getting in the way and the fact that someone backed into my 1125R 2 weeks after I got it, I finally got to take a real ride in the North GA mountains... gotta say... I love this thing. Was taking it easy, getting used to the bike and tires, but had a blast pretty much cruising along in 3rd with no need to downshift.... almost too smooth. That said, I'm used to my Uly, so 6 hours on it, I'm feeling a little beat up today. My pinky and ring finger on one hand still are numb. What's out there for bar end weights? Do they do any good on this bike? | ||

i always found the Throttlemeisters a little finicky. It could be me or my throttle, which has always left a bit to be desired as far as smoothness. I had a hard time finding the sweet spot where it didn't bind the throttle when "off" and didn't move slightly due to vibes when "on". I had them working perfectly a few times, but mostly I couldn't keep a constant MPH. I will say when the TM was working correctly, it was sweet. I could go miles on long straight country roads without touching the controls. | ||

Fresno - did you use the plastic piece that fits under the grip? | ||

I did have the piece under the grip. I had them on for a while, but retired them as my riding these days just doesn't call for a cruise control. | ||
