Sweet! The first 10 min. of Akira turned me on to anime. Biker gangs fighting on the streets of Neo-Tokyo! The rest of it ( it gets weird ! ) told me it would always be a cult thing. It looks like a 450 & a real PITA drive train, still, what a hoot to take to the biker bar. |

Hey gang, you do know that they built a couple of special 'one offs' for promotional use during the movies release.. not reading Japanese, that may be one of them. If I remember, at least one of them ran (more or less) but didn't handle as well as the one in the movie, still too much stuff to work out.. But, if they do become production, it might be interesting to have one to 'take for a spin' occasionally... Later, |

http://www.stingray.jp/webcatalog.htm There is the company site. They use a 250cc scooter engine in a rear engine configuration. The Anime bike was front wheel drive with a turbine.(that was anime, they could do that) |

Heh...sweet. Needs a GSXR 1300 engine, though. And that's Japanese, not Chinese. |

Those two sites are cool but definitely different bikes. The one at the show must have had a lot more work put into it. |

Stingray made both. The one on stingrays site I linked is the final production version you can purchase. |
