I need a new one. Could someone give me the parts number of the OE battery, please? I believe it is the same battery that goes in one of the Harleys. I don't know which. |

Here is the Shorai number. LFX21A6-BS12 I know you said OE. I don't have it in front of me. That Shorai is $229.95 MSRP. With accessories like a charger and such you can tag on another $100.00. It is 315 CCA and 5 pounds lighter. Froggy, What is the HD OE number? |

At advance auto parts.... $162.36 after tax Autocraft p/n# LFP-4 Lithium battery that weighs so little you'd think the box is empty... Only 260 CCA but for the first time it does NOT hesitate on start up and left it off of the battery tender for six months and it still fired up. |

Thanks, lads. Ratbuell, I'll check the existing battery. I didn't think of that. |

I have found the following battery on the internet at www.mds.co.uk It is a Yuasa MFY TX14-BS which is stated as replacing the H-D battery number 65948.00 It looks like it's the correct fit. Length 152mm, width 88mm, height 147mm are the stated measurements which tally with the one in situ. The Yuasa battery is cheap. 44.99 GB pounds (about 69 USD). Anyone anyexperience of this Yuasa battery, please? |

I should have added I am in England, so an American supplier is no use to me. Thanks. |

As a matter of interest why do you think you need one? |

The bike has been off the road over two years. The battery was on its way out in 2012 as it went flat fairly quickly. Despite tending to its needs with an Optimate, it has totally died. It will not recharge at all. It was on the original battery. The bike is a 2006 bike. I am about to put it on to Portuguese plates so I can use it as my Algarve bike, leaving the Suzuki as my longer distance bike. Uly man, which battery would you get? |

I have a YTX14-BS in my '06 Ulysses, it fits the battery tray as the H/D battery. However, spacers will be needed to fit the positive cable to the battery post as it was with the H/D battery. Not wanting to use spacers, I bent the positive cable tab 90 degs. to connect to the battery. |

That's the same battery as a V-Rod, I think. |
