Hello all, Just letting you know if you decide you want to run a slim tail section on a later model M2 that it is a bad idea. First off that metal peice that holds down the gas tank was digging into the front of the seat. Second the big tank rises up higher then the smaller tank would which causes the seat to rest on the tank not the sub frame. The seat felt like a bad mattress when I sat on it. There was a one inch gap between the bottom of the seat and the sub frame when I wasn't sitting on it. I put the old tail back on. That said I did accomplish something. I threw on a set of Firebolt turn sigs. Man those are purty.:-) Regards Mike |

Mike it worked just fine on my 2000 MaDeuece . . . .had to adjust things a bit, but it worked out fine (I normally runb the little tank, but switch to the big one from time to time) |

You can still do it country. Just don't use the newer metal tabs. Use the old rubber isolator. It keeps the tank lower an there is nuthing to rub into the seat. Also getting a Corbin helps too. |
