Ten days is quick to hire two teams Well, I doubt many of Larry's guys have found new jobs yet, and hopefully you could find enough to put together at least one team. |

I wish we could see an EBR in Imola...not a Hero at Imola ..... Last years Larry's bike had a cool paintjob |

I gotta admit, if even half of what I hear is correct, I might drop some coin to support a bike running around a WSBK course that says "*&^% Hero" on the side. |

It would be nice to see an EBR in Laguna Seca ...... Just for this race ..... That would be the most important project for Larry .... The other races do not matter much the way things have went.... But showing up for the race in LAGUNA...that would be great ! Also if they could arrange for a couple of days of extra testing ... they would have a good weekend ! Funny how HERO was everyones hero and now they are the bad guys.... the Mafia.Nobody knows where that company sits and why they did what they did. |

Let me rephrase - ten days is short to get enough money to transport/pay for two teams, it would seem |

Slaughter says an absolute bare-bones effort would be $200k or so, so I think we can scratch this for any kind of quick fix for the team. |

Hero pulled from it, right? But what about all of the other sponsors? Its not like Hero was the only one involved, right? And, not to downplay Slaughter, but are we sure his numbers are accurate? |

Forget WSBK and come back to the USA and race Moto America. Trying to raise money to race WSBK will be a lost cause. Why bother? I guess I am in a bad mood tonight. |

On the plus side, it appears they learned things in 1.25 seasons of WSBK competition that would might make them significantly faster in Moto America. Also, Geoff May and Cory West are looking for jobs right now, so there are EBR-experienced riders available. On the downside, Larry may not have the money to ship a couple of containers of motorcycles and parts home from Europe. |

How does attempting to continue this WSBK help anyone? It seems like a huge waste of money to run around on 15-20th place on a defunct brand with an apparently crooked sponsor. As much as I would like to see the EBR crew at Laguna Seca, I just don't see HOW they would justify the expense (or get the money.) |

As much as I would like to see the EBR crew at Laguna Seca, I just don't see HOW they would justify the expense (or get the money.) I don't know how they'll get the money given that people that should know state the cost of a WSBK weekend is $200K+, but it would be a HELL of an advertisement for EBR if they compete at all. Remember, the intent of a receivership is for the company to be bought intact and kept in business. I can't think of a better advertising opportunity for EBR to attract potential buyers even though EBR themselves can't do it. |

Racing at LS and running mid-pack really aint going to get anyone to want to buy the company. The company has to be profitable, and racing doesnt really do that (ok, if it costs 200k to race a weekend, they'd have to sell how many 15k bikes to make up the money...and no, dont just divide 200/15, that is not the answer) |

It is what it is bro, I love to race too (drag) and we do crazy things to get track time (driving 12 hours for only a guaranteed minute of track time lol) These guys are in the thick of it, on the world stage. They have more sponsors than Hero, if they wanted they could probably pull it off, crowdfunding would help too, as it has in the past. Is it economically wise for "EBR" to keep racing? No, not at this point (in my opinion), but they already have world-class bikes and a lot of data, run with it, race and enjoy it while you can! |

If Team Pegram still has the insurance company as a sponsor, I would bet they would do Moto America. He could get a new R1 and run the production class racing with the super bikes. Having no support for parts and race components does not make racing the EBR likely. Perhaps he has some parts but who owns the bikes and race equipment? I could be wrong, but there are a few bikes that can be had easily and can be up to speed quickly. Time will tell. |

Nic's not having much luck; apparently he's running a high fever and was declared unfit to participate in Superpole 1. Another note of interest- his placing on the Kawasaki was similar to his recent placings on the EBR. Of course, if he's been riding with a fever all weekend, he may not be at 100%. |

Canepa was apparently too sick to ride all weekend and didn't make either race. Tough luck for his new ride. |

I've taken WSBK off of my DVR schedule. I just don't care about any of the competitors or teams, so have no reason to watch anymore. Damned shame, too, because they really had the BEST television coverage of the three series I watched. The MotoAmerica coverage by CBS Sports is just "weird." And Fox Sports' coverage of MotoGP gets annoying with all the breakaways for commercials. |

Fox does suck. They don't even show Moto3 anymore and you never get to see any of the after race stuff like you do if you watch racing in Europe. WTF is wrong with this country...lol. I miss Speedvision. |

Anyone know why Bein isnt covering WSB anymore? I just added it to my package last week and watched the race last weekend but they don't have Donington scheduled next weekend. What gives? |
