You have to remind yourself to be careful w/speed bumps and dropoff with curbs etc. but no bottoming out haven't scratched bottom of shock but did grind through one muffler clamp screw while riding Charleston Rd between Tombstone & Sierra Vista. I measured the shock a while ago; if I remember correctly, it was approx 16.5 inches eye to eye installed. I gather there are several front shock mounts that may "push" the shock back toward the swingarm, thus lowering the rear of the bike. Any assistance would be appreciated. I'm pretty sure that I have the newer, shorter shock (2002 with all recalls done), so essentially I already have an equivalent mount. Carry on. I'm not looking for this anymore.
