I can help with lower belt guard, clutch cover, timing cover and some other standard parts you may be interested in. Currently breaking up complete X1 for parts. Heine |

Gday Heine, If you could email me some pics that would be great. Also how much you want for your parts - then just have to figure out shipping. Just sent you PM Lance |

most of what you are looking for is unobtanium parts and very sought after just keep your eye on ebay and the for sale section |

Thanks S1 - I thought there were hard to find but I have to ask as I'm a newbie. Yeah I found the PM's a bit odd - i have had one come thru and not the rest. I'll check the settings. |

I have an early S2 Brembo Rear Caliper and mount bracket. It's a bit rough looking and i would rebuild the caliper. If you are interested, I can shoot some pictures. Kevin |

Hi there KM. I am such a newbie that I have no idea if your Brembo will fit the X1. I'll check with a mate of mine. I am prepared to purchase and rebuild it if it does fit. Do you have an upgraded master to suit? |

The brembo will bolt on. The master is there, but I believe that the rebuild kits are no longer available. If you are looking to upgrade braking power, you should be looking for the PM two piston unit. Kevin |

KM & S1, Thanks for your direction guys. I see the kit from Twin Motorcycles however I do like the set up that S1 has. Can you tell me more about it? Anyone please jump in with your rear brake upgrade thoughts. I'm looking more at power increase than going with a hidden system... I run a machining business at home and have a decent workshop so I can manufacture items if I can't buy them. |

That setup comes with the caliper and the bracket very nice. It is hard to find if you can find the part number for the caliper the bracket can be made I have only seen two this one and the one on Dutchs bike but put an add out you may get lucky. Otherwise a very cool set up is here and they are a sponsor http://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/webshop/artikel.asp? guid=YXHFSC&aid=10837&cid=198&s=buell&a=&aname=Bue ll_Tube_Frame_2_piston_upgrade_rear_brake |

I dont have a machine shop or one at my call. I am how ever very nice and talk to the others on this site as several of them are Machinist or have one they work with. I have had parts made by guys in Conneticut, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Mississippi, Missouri, Germany and Aulstralia. All for very resonable prices and sometimes free. That set up I got off Ebay three years ago they are out there some on this site may even have some tucked away on a shelf |

Well I would love to just buy one as that would be easier. I'll keep an eye out, thanks S1. Roald - yeah I must say it is good in some ways and bad in others. Sometimes I find myself making things that would have just been easier to buy. Hang on, sometimes? Almost all the time! |
