That's a first generation Multi-Strada, right? I never really cared for the look of that one with the weird fairing... this part turns and that part doesn't. Just looks goofy. Hopefully it handles nicely.

Well, for 3 days we had awesome weather, nearly 70 degrees! Then, it changes and gets cold. Lots of sand and gravel on the roads.

HAHAHA...

Yeah, so it rained here pretty much all day Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday. Then it rained part of Saturday. The Sunday forecast was for sunny skies and 70F. Instead, I awoke to dense fog and 50s. The fog didn't clear until at least 1100 and it didn't get any sunshine until 1200. It warmed up slightly into the 60s. It's not bad today.

I had a work thing to go to Sunday morning, then took the rest of the day off. I'm getting pretty restless. I've barely ridden my bike in the past month. Between the weather and being sick, it's been killing me. I did get that carb fixed up on the Honda, so I had my brother out riding that a bit. Sort of the perfect bike for him since he's 5'9" 145lbs.

Sorry this has taken so long to get out, Bob and I helped set this up last week,
Then we changed it again,,,
Here we go,,

May 30-31,
Pagosa Springs CO.
Easy 2 day ride, soak in the hot springs,
Wolf Creek Pass is always a good time, just gotta watch for that one trooper at the top.
I`m using it as a shakedown cruise for Erik and the big trip next month,,,

June 25-26-27-28
Glens Big Western Adventure.
Moab, Monument Valley, N Rim Grand Canyon, HWY 191 in AZ, back to Den.
There are a few of us set up to go on this ride already,
Our buddy Glen form England is coming out to ride in the wide open spaces of the American West.
I attached a basic plan, if you follow the directions on a map-it gets pretty simple.
This should be a lot of fun, of course with this guy, we could have fun at a Denny`s,,,

July 10-11-12
Buell/EBR/S2 Gathering, Berthoud CO
Dan is putting together a gathering around his new EBR Dealership in Berthoud.
Should be a good time, it`s all over the BadWeB, I think around 40 people have already signed up.
This doesn`t even include us locals,,,
I`m looking forward to it-I`ll be there, I bet there`ll be lots of adventure/story telling.
I`m not missing it,,

Aug 21-22-23
Southwest Regional Buell Rally, Gunnison CO
Boy, that name really sounds official for how “high fallutin” this shindig rally is ,,
This year, we were thinking about a loop up around the Black Canyon of the Gunnison,
Up around Redstone/McClure pass, then back over Independence Pass to Gunny.
This is just the basic idea at this point-I`m sure we can look at a map and make this work.
( Stupid me didn`t even look at one yet, sorry)

Sept 12-13
Lake City CO
We were thinking Bruno would enjoy the company ( or at least abuse the bunch of us,,)
Let`s go see our favorite” Taunting Frenchman”, and make sure he still knows how to cook !
Oh yeah, the riding and scenery is pretty nice too.

That`s all I got so far,, if anything comes up/changes I`ll let you know.

I got a new job in NM. I'll be moving back at the end of the month. I'll be a marketing specialist for a law firm that specializes in Motorcycle accidents, personal injury types. Basically, I get paid to drive around talking to motorcyclists all day. And well paid, actually. Looking forward to starting it in March.

Hope to see some of you soon and get some rides on.

Well... I guess I won't be at Spring Fast. The AspenCash rally is at Inn of the Mountain Gods in Mescalero/Ruidoso, so I'll be working that.

I haven't even started yet and it's already killing my fun!!

Tal Wi Wi lodge is booked with someone I don't know blocked a bunch of rooms. The mountain high lodge in alpine has rooms.

The T120 belonged to my neighbors Dad. He is/was the original owner. Has Alzheimer's and can't remember he owned a motorcycle, let alone ride one ; )
His Mom originally brought it over for me to "make it run" as it had been sitting for about 4 years in the garage, so she could sell it. about 2 weeks later she gave me the title, signed, and said I could have the bike. Anyone that loves bikes as much as I do, deserved to have a classic like that in his garage.
wow, classy lady that gets it...

I Have NOT rolled the DR out yet : (
I'm working tons of overtime and didn't get out of work until after 5 yesterday. Nothing like 12 hr days to ruin your personal life. I'm still going to try and roll it out tonight and dust the cobwebs off, then load it up. Hopefully I can use the dr appointment excuse.

I will be doing a pre-ride on The 2nd, 3rd of May.
Anyone wishing to ride along is welcome. This will be a very "spirited" ride due to the 2 days allotted.
I will be leaving EARLY Saturday morning, and meeting Kelly, and any other AZ riders, in alpine around 11am.
Riding down 191, having lunch in Morenci, and coming back up 191 and spending the night at the escudilla cabins.
