Good times are where you go find them! It was good to meet you and ride as well. Hope you can make some more meetups. Nothing formal as you can see we just talk about bikes and when we used to ride .... Just kidding sort of . More rides would be good but life seems to get in the way . My number is above text me if you need help or want to ride or whatever.. Jesus hope you can make it out next time, you missed taking out about a million bugs and a few chicken wings... Good to see you all and ride. Mark |

This gets sent to me. I have talked to the guy and he Races a Buell and there is a you ng lady there racing a Buell as well.. This is not me just passing it along.. Mark It's almost time. This Fiday the 10th l be running the world famous 5&Diner Cycle Gear motorcycle challenge race at Wildhorse Pass Motorsports Park. This is a race for ALL Bikes and all skill levels. If you ever wanted to see how you would do in a race situation this is the race for you. There is no additional cost to race. It's $40 for your tech card. If you get knocked out of the race you can still run the rest of the night out of the test n tune lane so you have nothing to loose. Gates open at 5. I will start at around 8pm. You will get 2 qualifying passes between 8 and 9. The eliminations should start around 9. IAnyone who has run this race in the pass can tell you how much fun this is. If you have never raced before this is a good introduction to drag racing. There will be a trophy provided by 5$Diner and a $25 gift card from Cycle Gear to the winner. Come early and see me if you need any tutoring on how it all works. You can make as many passes as you can between 7 & 8 before we start. Here are a the requirements for racing. First the bike must be road worthy with a snap back throttle, belt or chain guard, tail lights and working brakes. Personal equipment includes a Snell 2005 or newer helmet (DOT is not accepted) a leather jacket and gloves and boots or shoes that cover the ankle. If the bike can do more than 120mph in the 1/4 mile you will need a zip together leather or 1 piece suit. The bike will require a kill switch with a lanyard attached to you. That should just about do it. I hope to get a good turn out so tell your friends and club members to come on out. Hope to see you all there. Any questions feel free to respond to this email or comment on Facebook. See you at the track......John |

yeap, it's official and the web site has been closed as well, sucks...maybe Rotax will be interested in buying EBR as they wanted to buy Buell from HD and they declined to sell. |

Hero EBR racing continues regardless of what has happened, they are being funded directly from Hero |

Thank you for the supportive posts, texts, and e-mails since the announcement that EBR has ceased operations. This is a difficult time, and your comments mean a great deal to me personally and also to the EBR team that has done such amazing work over the past few, intense years. No doubt, it was an incredible ride, feeling like the longest qualifying lap ever. And, then, just when we knew we were about to set an all-time record, we tossed it in the last corner… Keeping with racing analogies, now we need to get back on the track and look ahead remembering all the things we were doing right around so many turns. Unfortunately, in the end, we tried to do too much with too little funding, but it doesn't diminish the accomplishments. We introduced the world class American super bikes of 1190RS, 1190RX and 1190SX, while at the same time doing revolutionary work for Hero on the HX250R, Leap, SimplEcity, iON, RnT and many others, plus concepts never publicly seen. It was great EBR innovation and design, and introduced new technology to Hero and its suppliers to provide a real kick start for them. But in the end all of this simply overwhelmed us, and for that we are sorry and saddened. I want you to know that looking ahead my focus is 100% on helping the receiver best maximize the value from EBR to benefit all, and I will make every possible effort to get the new organization to where it can support the dealers and customers first, and then help find investment to get back to full throttle. Thank you for your support, it means a great deal. Please stay tuned - I cannot predict the future, but always believe the best is yet to come. Erik |

still trying to figure why everyone is saying Polaris...Rotax offered to buy Buell from HD, which they declined to sell to them. Rotax would be a much better fit to buy EBR since they helped with the 1125's. Hero would also be ok for it as well, since they already have a relationship with Rotax since 2004 when they built engines for Hero scooters. just saying |

Springfast is almost here! I will be doing a pre-ride on The 2nd, 3rd of May. Anyone wishing to ride along is welcome. This will be a very "spirited" ride due to the 2 days allotted. I will be leaving EARLY Saturday morning, and meeting Kelly, and any other AZ riders, in alpine around 11am. Riding down 191, having lunch in Morenci, and coming back up 191 and spending the night at the escudilla cabins. http://www.escudillamtncabins.com Sunday heading back. Saturday will be a lot of miles! :-) Post if you want to go... (Message edited by bartimus on April 22, 2015) |

Polaris has posted that they are not interested in investing in EBR because they are interested in making profits. Whereas EBR is interested in racing. I think I read that post here on badweb somewhere... enjoy the race, see ya next month! |

Is Polaris actually Rotax? Polaris has their boats, atv's. They also own Victory, Indian, and just bought Brammo ( electric ) not too long ago. Brammo is a long way from making money..... |

yes, that was a very interesting article. News affecting their Stock. in the india stock market, HERO lost a lot of money for a minor investment in technology help from EBR. I am sure they thought it would not even be considered something to affect their total company. |
