Alright Gents, I'm tackling (attempting at the moment) the rocker cover gasket leak that Ive had for a while. I'm following the info on X1Files which is pretty spot on so far. http://thex1files.com/ReplaceRockerGaskets.htm My question is how do I know when the valves are in the closed position? I have no clue! Ive got it in 5th and have rolled it a few times to see if it was something obvious but I just cant seem to get it. Also, when they're closed, is it going to be one cylinder at a time? Thanks guys and cant wait to get this thing out of the garage! |

Watch the rocker arms - you'll see when they're both at rest (piston coming up after the intake opens and shuts). Yes, each cylinder will be done at a different time. |
