Replaced both O.E.M. headlights after original low beam finally died, no problems for several months, now every time I turn the ignition key to "start" the headlight fuse blows. Wiring harness ohms out good, and nothing else has stopped working. Looking for any suggestions to fix this. |

Here is a helpful tip. Get an old automotive headlight with the 3 spade connectors on it, run two wires from the ground and the hot of the light (low or hi beam), then plug it in place of the fuse connection. The bulb should not light until the "shorted condition occurs", when it does occur you will have time to check voltage on the bad circuit and check for bad wiring. |
