Ordered new Metzeler's today. Putting on the S-2. If I like them I'll get a set for the X-1 also. Chance of rain tomorrow. I wont have to work. Anyone up for a ride to Sonoita late afternoon? I'm on for the week-end. |

The magnet has struck again! How's that rain fellas?! I went to the shop to get that tire installed and guess what. No can do. Don't have the tools to remove the rear. I give up! I need to go buy a Japanese bike that can be fixed at a dozen or more shops in Tucson. Harley is a week and a half behind, the shop on Grant won't mount tires unless they are bought from him....it's a joke! Hmmmmm....Honda Superhawk...996 V-twin...cheap financing...cheap upkeep...Hmmmmm! By the way, I CAN'T WAIT to ride home on the f***in' racing slick of a bald tire!!! WOOOHOOO! Okay...I'm done ranting. Guess I'm out until I get tires or a new bike!--------Brian |

Brian, the tool they needed, a 22mm Allen? Bill called me and said he ran down and bought one at auto zone, but by the time he came back, you had allready picked up your bike. Sorry about that. But on a happy note, thanks for the rain. I sure enjoyed it DRIVING back from Phoenix today. Didn't have to use the AC. That suit is a Textile suit like we have, only this one fits my fat ass... At least I won't look like your twin |

You are just f***ing with me right? A damn allen wrench??? OOOOOO I'm even more pissed! I probably had what they needed in the stupid Buell tool kit under my seat! Too much pain involved in being "different in ever sense"! |

How many people made the decision to not check the toolbag? |

Hey Bart, The keys did'nt work! I'll drop them off to you this a.m. If by chance you're sleeping-I'll leave them in the "secret" spot. Thanks for the use of the keys. In between rain today I'll take the S-2 over to Bruce's and have him pick the lock. The S-2 should be ready for Sat., Sunday. |

The tools you need to keep them tubers goin' won't fit in a bag! You need a whole stinkin' ga-rage!! Still don't solve my bald tire issue....damn. I think I may have to re-take up golf. |

Brian you have the toolbag for your XB right? In that bag is a little tool that looks liek the head of a bolt with a C-clip through the middle. That is the tool for removing the front/rear tire. |

Mike, that's what I figured. I had the f***in' thing they needed to change the damn tire the whole time! The service guys said the didn't have the right tools for the job. If I would've been thinkin' instead of being pissed about wasting half a work day that I couldn't afford to waste, I would've opened my seat and grabbed the tool kit! It was just one of those days...although this tire thing has lasted almost a month now. |

Nice day for testing out them tires. Thanks Magnet, I'm sure you had something to do with this rain... Actually, I think it's raining so hard because of that sorry remark you made about Tubers, needing tools. that was just downright mean. Now, I think I'll just go out and jump on that "tuber" of mine and go for a nice wet ride. Yea Brian, You know which Tuber I'm talking about, it's the one with NEW tires on it!!!!!!! I guess you won't be riding this Sunday? |
