Vik: There's something funky with my home Netscape installation. I keep the version updated (it's now 4.72 by the way ... you're outdated!) and the problem has persisted across multiple versions. Funny thing, though ... there was a time when my home system's Netscape worked fine, I could successfully upload. Not sure why or when it quit. AW |

Aaron, Have you also upgraded your Explorer? I upgraded my Explorer recently and it messed with my Netscape configuration _without_ my permission. |

If you use Dot 6 fluid anything will work. |

Sorry guys that was dumb. I was bored and buzzed at 3:53am I guess. My kid uses Netscape and I use Internet Explorer on our Macintosh. We can run 'em both. We don't have any problems. I think? |

How about a section collecting all the part numbers people are always asking for? Wheel bearings, colder plugs, etc. These get posted in the General board, and two weeks later when you realize you need them they're burried in the archive somewhere. Maybe this could be a subtopic of Buellish Problems. |

The method of posting specific technical discussion in its respective topic area has one drawback. If you want a timely response to a question, you're unlikely to get it this way. I had a suspension question, but in the appropriate topic area, the most recent post was back in February. So how long might my question sit out there before someone who knows the answer just happens to look there? So the solution is to post technical questions to the General Discussion Area, which the note says specifically not to do. But how else will I get a timely response? Thanks. Keith X1 |

Keith, It's just a matter of educating people to use the new message option. Then anything posted since they last read the board is displayed for them. PPiA |

I sez we need a separate root topic for Blasts, for all the obvious reasons. So sez I. Sez y'all? |

I'm for the idea of a separate Blast thread as well. It'll keep the Blasties separated from the Buellies, and eliminate some confusion. Jim X-2 |
