I know it is wise to replace these but here is my question Instead of the torque head could I use a allen socket as long as I use the correct grade and theres clearance what would be the down side?   Buelliedan Posted on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 - 07:18 pm:        the TORX head bolt has a much bigger shoulder than a typical allen head. Most of my Buells have the wave rotors by braking, really happy with them, but I always have Al add in new hardware as well.
