Just sold the x1... No buell in the shed for the first time in 15 yrs... Weird thing, started trolling interweb for another the next day.. Best bang for the buck out there for fun... Is this a common occurence? Is there any help for me? If a cheap m2 comes along... I have in my minds eye the ultimate buell. Oh well, cheers and ride safe! I will always come to this site... Love me some badweb! |

LOL. Nice one Vince. Orngm2 that's your bike right there. I bet the guy would take $3500. That M2 is nice. |

I blew the one pic up and looks like Thunderstorm heads and a race series header and muffler. With those low miles and those extras and the shape its in 3500 would be a great deal. |

Definitely a race kit on the M2. That said, the S3 is a much better deal. You could sell the bags and body work and recoup a good chunk of the purchase price, if an S3T isn't your thing. Put an round headlight, dash panel, bikini fairing, and tail on it and you have an M2 with upgraded forks. |

I've never ridden an M2..... Hmmmm how can my collection be complete???!!! Actually right now the motorcycle side of my brain is living vicariously through you guys!!! I can't even seem to make it to the garage for a project, let alone squeeze another bike into the garage! However, I do have my eye on a red S2 if I can figure out space, time and that thing called spare cash!... Of the three.... All of them are in short supply these days!! Good luck finding a great replacement for your recently departed bike!!! The price on that S3t makes it tough to ignore!!! Hope it goes to a good home instead of a chopping block! |

A pre 2008 30k Uly with hard bags that is otherwise running fine is a little bit of gamble, but if you can get one for $3500 or so, boy is it a nice bike. And is probably still more reliable than an M2 with 10,000 miles. If it really does all go horribly wrong, you could probably rebuild a Uly engine (including crank) for $3000, at which point you would have a $6500 Uly with a new engine and a stronger crank. So ho wrong could you go...? The only downside is that little nagging voice that might mess with your head on a long trip that you don't want to screw up for your riding buddies because something breaks. I figure if it happens, they just loose one day helping me get a one way rental truck, or a short sale to a scrapper, sorted out. Seems like either could be done pretty easily if I eat $500 to $1000 in losses, so again, how wrong can it go? |
