I have a nice set of ported Thunderstorm heads that I'd like to move. They have Ferrea guides, Ferrea .600" lift springs with Titanium retainers, oversize Kibblewhite 1.840" intake and 1.630" exhaust valves, and cometic valve seals. They are decked .050" (as much was needed to clean up the casting flash in the squish band) with stock style 15* squish band cut in them. These would work great as a standalone upgrade over stock Thunderstorms or better with a matching 1250 kit and cams. I want $530 + shipping for them. The hardware in the heads alone is worth over $300. These are ready to run. Pics below. (Message edited by phelan on February 15, 2015) (Message edited by phelan on February 15, 2015) |

If they're decked .050 would they need the shorter pushrods ? They really look nice. |

Yes you would. But those are cheap and can be bought here at the shop. Either .040", .050", or .060" under should work. You just need to get the lifters closer to the center of their tolerance. |
