I recently purchased this off of Fleabay and it's just too tight across the shoulders. The seller refused to take it back. Nice guy.
It's sized by Vanson as a 44 but it's more like a 42.
If you're local (I'm in zip code 17322) you're welcome to swing by and try it on.
The jacket's in just about perfect shape with the zip in liner, heavy weight leather, not some wimpy fashion grade.
$375, I'll pick up freight within the continental US.
If it doesn't fit, send it back within 3 days and I'll refund your $375 because I am a decent person.

If you take a 40 it will be large enough for a heavy sweater, a 42 will be snug and a person who takes a 44 will feel like a chimpanzee riding a unicycle.

I hear ya. I used to take a 40, but with all the calories I've acquired (the gremlins that hide in your closet and sew your clothes tighter), I have to wear a 44/46 now.

I put my fat ass on a severe diet, gave the jacket a good soak with Lexol and it fits like a glove.
Another 10 pounds and I'll be back to my Summer riding weight.
