Finally finished converting my 08'R to a CR with the high bars.(Special thanks to my LBS for helping out) Last thing left to do is get some cool mirrors and brush guards for wind protection. I love the way this thing feels with this setup. It's a beast. And of course I've got lots of takeoff parts to sell. I bought most of my stuff from Imperial Sportbikes (via ebay). They are the place that sold the Ronin take off parts. The stuff I got from them was all top notch. But I did have to get the headlight and some other stuff separately. It was a f'n headache getting all the parts together, but I'm so stoked right now it doesn't even matter what I spent on it.  | ||

Ever thought of "flatting" the rest of the black to match the windscreen, thus making the whole bike satin so to type. Regardless, nice ride. | ||

I am thinking about it. I love the way the matte black looks almost 'stealth bomber' like. The windscreen was done with a plastidip spray and I think I'm going to start with the pods and see how it looks. If it ends up cool, I just might repaint the whole bike in matte. And I did get some cool mirrors and small led signals. It looks good. I'll post another pic when I get the pods painted. | ||
