I'm selling my Uly, Bought a different bike. (Moto Guzzi Stelvio) It's been a good reliable bike, all stock with no ECM programming mods. Here's the link http://www.ebay.com/itm/151557426756?ssPageName=ST RK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 |

That looks like a great bike for a good price. If I needed one I'd do a fly and ride for that! Less than 15,000 miles on a clean stock '06 bike for ~ $4500. I still would not sell my 62,000 mile bike for less than that. Did you list it on the sale board here? |

Terry, Too bad you're leaving us. The Guzzi looks like a good ride. I'd love to hear your thoughts, comparisons, and impressions, on both bikes. |

Guzzi rider, Join us here, http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?board=1.0 you'll find one of the very best motorcycle forums where you can get answers to almost any question not just motorcycle related. from a great group of experts in everything. also check out the book "Guzziology" it's the most comprehensive bible of any motorcycle brand.. pretty soon you'll want to add a second Guzzi like an Eldorado or a Convert (Auto tranny from the 70's) Guzzi's are amazing elegant machines with all that Italian quirkyness and charm. our rallys are excellent too.. I've owned more that a dozen of them here's a few.. sorry for the thread drift, Once I got the Uly I traded this Lemans for a car.. 1st car in 24 years a Miata that my dog loves. My Uly is not as pretty but it has an equal amount of charm/charisma and is faster, not top end (6speed) the Lemans could do over 130mph, never been even close to that on the XB but It would tear it up off the line I'm pretty sure.. |

Fotoguzzi, I joined wildguzzi a month ago, wish it was organized as well as this Buell website. Nice looking bikes in your photos. I had an 850T a few years ago, I liked it, but didn't put any serious miles on it. That Stelvio has a nice power band, not so tractor like as the Uly. |

don't bother bringing up the idea of splitting up the forum to sub categories.. it;s been suggested too many times to count. I agree it's part of what keep the discussion lively and worldwise.. there is always the search function to drill down to what you want to know.. funny you mention tractor, most every mag article relates Guzzi to the 3 wheel tractor they designed to Travers mountains back in the war years.. check out the Ercola it's the Italian version of a HD Servicar.

Some bug bit me and lately I've been looking at the Norge. We need a touring bike and the 2013 I sat on at a dealer was speaking to me. Only concern I had was the seat height seemed too low, the Stelvio fit me like a glove but I like the overall compactness and the touring focus of the Norge. Only Guzzi I've actually ridden was a V7 Sport back in the day. Was rough but complete down to the gilled mufflers and I loved the thing, but the seller was doing pricing games and I walked away at $700(!) out of principle and regretted that for awhile. |

Tootal - I have a similar component under my XT but it is brown in color. Maybe I can shiny mine up when I change the oil filter! |
