Hey, thanks.... I had no idea those manuals were just sitting out there waiting to be downloaded for free! That part number is exactly the part that I needed and ordered. I was pleasantly surprised it was still available from Harley. Makes me think I should go in and order all the other decals now before they're gone. | ||

Newcastlehd saved my bacon one year while on vacation on the S2, about 15 years ago. Drive belt had been improperly adjusted by Chandler HD/Buell, surprise! By the time I got back east the belt was losing teeth. Stopped in newCastle on my way home. They didn't have a belt in stock, but pulled one off of a new bike on the floor to get me back on the road. Solid people, definitely pro-Buell there. | ||

Hey guys... Just a little FYI... As most of you know I have been racing my dirt bike is the AMRA desert race series the last few years. There is a race coming up this weekend in Globe that my club, The Rockstars MC is hosting. I wont be racing this one as I am part of the crew hosting/running the event but this is a great venue to come out and watch. It's located at the Gila County fairgrounds just out side of town. If anyone is looking to make a ride this weekend maybe come check it out? Here is the info: Feb. 7th and 8th. Minis and C racers on Saturday and AA, A and B racers on Sunday. Round 6 "The Rock Stars Prison Break" Updates Round 6 of the 2015 AMRA Motocity Off Road Championship Series, "The Rock Stars Prison Break" is getting close....if you haven’t pre-entered do so now! Pre-entry will close Wednesday night at midnight. The Globe area has received over an inch of rain in the last few days which should make for great conditions this weekend. This year we are happy to say we have added 2.5 miles of new trail to the existing course. Two miles of the new trail is on a section of the Gila County Fairgrounds that has never seen trail before. It is literally all new and includes the horse track, tight single track, a grass track, and horse corral! We have also added ½ mile of new trail towards the beginning of the existing course that is a photographer’s dream, with green grass and perfect dirt! Here are a few important notes about this year’s event at the Gila County Fairgrounds: • The pit area has moved from the normal location to the asphalt on the north side of the registration building. See map below. Pit supplies in this area only please. • The old pit area is now a full race zone. Please stay away from this area for your safety. • There will be two road crossings on the Big Bike Course this year. When you show up to the race area be aware of the road crossing. If there is a race going on we will have it staffed with flaggers but still drive slow and be alert at all times please. Same thing goes for the racers, be sure the staff has the vehicles stopped before you proceed. Don’t assume. • Please see the map below for parking areas, spectator areas, and a general guide to get you around. • Support the food vendor. They will be in the registration building serving up some delicious eats. • Show up early and stay late to watch some trials competitions! Central Arizona Trials (CAT) is putting on a trials event Saturday and Sunday after the hare scramble race is complete. • The Renaissance Festival starts February 7th. If you are driving up the day of your race, please plan accordingly and don’t be late. • Please be courteous when on the property. What's up all? Yep I'm gonna be in Phoenix for some training next week. I'm thinking Thursday might be best for me. I'd like to go to the Az cafe racers Tuesday for there meetup. Wednesday there's a bike night at sidewinder subs. If anyone wants to go to that, that would be cool. I will have a ride, my aunt, so y'all don't have to come all the way out to me. got back from Roswell late Tuesday afternoon...working on the winter project today. primer and paint going onto the plastics, decals will come a bit later. baby steps right now in completing the project due to my crazy work schedule. | ||

[From Dave Kaminen] Hello All, Sorry this has taken so long to get out, Bob and I helped set this up last week, Then we changed it again,,, Here we go,, May 30-31, Pagosa Springs CO. Easy 2 day ride, soak in the hot springs, Wolf Creek Pass is always a good time, just gotta watch for that one trooper at the top. I`m using it as a shakedown cruise for Erik and the big trip next month,,, June 25-26-27-28 Glens Big Western Adventure. Moab, Monument Valley, N Rim Grand Canyon, HWY 191 in AZ, back to Den. There are a few of us set up to go on this ride already, Our buddy Glen form England is coming out to ride in the wide open spaces of the American West. I attached a basic plan, if you follow the directions on a map-it gets pretty simple. This should be a lot of fun, of course with this guy, we could have fun at a Denny`s,,, July 10-11-12 Buell/EBR/S2 Gathering, Berthoud CO Dan is putting together a gathering around his new EBR Dealership in Berthoud. Should be a good time, it`s all over the BadWeB, I think around 40 people have already signed up. This doesn`t even include us locals,,, I`m looking forward to it-I`ll be there, I bet there`ll be lots of adventure/story telling. I`m not missing it,, Aug 21-22-23 Southwest Regional Buell Rally, Gunnison CO Boy, that name really sounds official for how “high fallutin” this shindig rally is ,, This year, we were thinking about a loop up around the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Up around Redstone/McClure pass, then back over Independence Pass to Gunny. This is just the basic idea at this point-I`m sure we can look at a map and make this work. ( Stupid me didn`t even look at one yet, sorry) Sept 12-13 Lake City CO We were thinking Bruno would enjoy the company ( or at least abuse the bunch of us,,) Let`s go see our favorite” Taunting Frenchman”, and make sure he still knows how to cook !
