The molten orange paint and the nuclear blue frame paint really shines like new. Very minute and minor flaws if any on this bike, it is the real deal. I baby it! Seat is very nice, tires are pretty nice still, been replaced while back. Regular Maintenance with oil changes and checks have been done by Harley up till summer 2014. You won't be disappointed at all, this bike SCREAMS! Has the Factory BUELL Racing Exhaust and sounds very sick!!! Has stage 2 tuner race chip in it that can be removed. Rear tail eliminator and tag hid under seat, very sweet. I will sell worldwide. CASH or Perosnal Payal is best. Overnight certified bank checks are ok, not personal checks. 2 owner sweet BUELL X1!!! & after you answer that question. Why would you jack the price up to $4900 when you offered to sell to me for $3500 during the auction? I opted out because I could not get a good shipping price and you were pressing hard to get the deal done. Just trying to protect fellow Bueller's on this board. Well, I just pinged the seller of that bike on Ebay and he responded. Yes, it's him. Unless somebody has hacked ALL of his accounts, this seems legit. I'll let the rest of you sort out the inconsistencies in the completed auction, the new sale here, the difference in prices, etc. | ||

Actually, its a legit deal. BSa, you ignored me for over a week. 2003, I wake up to an alarm every day for work. Billy, check your garage, may be a dead rat in there if your smelling one, don't run away from it, find it and dispose of the smelly rat in your garage. But, in all seriousness A) its 4900 obo, in the negotiating world I know very well how someone will offer me 3000 on a 4900 obo price, or if i put 3000 someone will offer me low ball 1500-2000....im not stupid, B) this is a legit bike and I am sorry for forum belittling that you all feel needs to take place, C) on point B, i am not part of many forums because of people like you guys usually are just straight retarded, D) i sincerely apologize for you...this bike is for sale due to the high bidder backing out claiming he had another bike bought before mine was over on ebay, he had won another, SMH as we all know and understand the ebay world of bidders/non buyers, etc....needless to say, this is a very nice bike and best of luck in your search, search to belittle a seller or search to buy a very nice buell (which is what this forum and thread in classifieds for sale, is intended to do!!!) | ||

If you'd bought and sold as much as you say, you'd surely know that your listing here exhibits almost every single trait of being a scam. It happens all the time: somebody hijacks some Ebay pictures, lists the item somewhere else and scams the sellers. Two things stood out that said it wasn't a scam:
Otherwise, I would have agreed with everybody else here. Coming in waving your dick around and telling everybody how superior you are will not win you a buyer. Good luck with it now that you've alienated most of the forum. A little humility and class could have closed the deal, even now, days before Christmas. It's a nice bike. | ||

Like I said to you, the shipping is not cheap from Kansas. Lowest bid I got was $717 from uship which I informed you. Way too much so I let the auction end normally at $3299, even at that price was not cost effective for me. North/South, East/West routes are much lower. I guess what I really objected to was the inflated price to my fellow forum members taking advantage of their passion for Buells. But when it comes down to it, it's a free country and you can ask what you want. I have much respect for the members here, they are straight shooters. | ||

I think you guys should give the OP a break. We all want the most we can get when we have to part with these machines. Remember the dealer sold these in 2001 for $12,000 I know because my original owner was underwater on his when I bought with only 900 miles on it! A bad economy, •••••• ebay fees, all add up to an crap experience for sellers sometimes too. Its a sweet X1 but needs Black Paint. Other that its worth more than he is asking. Thank you for joining this forum. Your bike is a fine looking one. Anyone can ask whatever they want for their bike. I stated that. Will it sell at $4800? Doubtful. He had one market test on ebay and it sold at $3299. I offered $3400 during that auction and was countered at $3500 after a few more counters, not bad. I could not get reasonable shipping so I let the auction run it's course. For some reason he came over here and inflated the price after the auction was complete with no explanation. Big red flag went up for me. Was very suspicious and a bit deceitful in my eyes. So my fellow Buellers were alerted. It is also a nice looking X1 and I hope he sells it. I never look at the original sales price of a vehicle. Heck I'd like to get $4800 for my 2007 $30K SUV, LOL and I'm sure you wouldn't look at the original cost of a 1125R. There's an X1 on ebay for $2900 buy it now. Two came up in my area (JAX) for $3500 obo. This M2 is very nice at $3200 http://tampa.craigslist.org/hil/mcy/4831865999.htm l My volcano gray and orange 02' M2 with 8K is worth $4500 to me. Can I get it? No. The market is what the market does. Good time to buy right now, not so much to sell. You are seeing bikes sit on craigslist for weeks or months. I might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but folks here are and they know the market. I think tube frame Buell's are the best values out there. I've also been looking at 2002-2006 Triumph Daytona's and Sprints. I've had a few and they are great bikes. In fact I sold a nice 2000 RS months ago for $1900 after an engine swap I did (fully disclosed of course and with the original engine, lol). Can get a great one from $3-$3.6K. The market is way down sorry to say and so is my funds after last week due to a shockingly large vet bill (what we do for our families and pets, lol).
